Common questions
Is DadKick a replacement for a doctor?
No. Nothing in the app is medical advice. It tells you what is normal and where the red flags are, but anything medical goes through your healthcare provider.
What if my partner is not pregnant yet?
DadKick is built for active pregnancies. We may add a trying-to-conceive companion later, but it is not in the current app.
Will it work if I do not know the exact due date?
Yes. You can enter an estimated date or use estimated conception. Update it later from settings as soon as you have a confirmed date.
Does the app work without internet?
Most reading content is cached after first load. Notifications and account changes need a connection.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the App Store, tap your profile, then Subscriptions, then DadKick. You can cancel inside the 7-day trial and you will not be charged.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell, trade, or rent personal information. We do not share data with advertisers. See the Privacy Policy below for the full list of providers we use to run the app.

- Push notification tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to deliver weekly milestones, daily tips, mission reminders, and other notifications you have opted into.
How We Use Your Information

Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate DadKick:
- Supabase: Our backend infrastructure provider, used for authentication, data storage, and server-side functions. Your data is stored securely on Supabase’s infrastructure.
- RevenueCat: Our subscription management provider, used to process in-app purchases and manage subscription status. RevenueCat processes transaction data through Apple’s App Store.
- Apple Push Notification Service (APNs): Used to deliver push notifications to your device.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. Your information is only shared with the third-party service providers listed above, solely for the purpose of operating the app.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/SSL). Your account is protected by secure authentication through Supabase.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Children’s Privacy
DadKick is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
